On Christmas day

Christmas is just as exciting for us as it was when we were younger. Ok, so maybe now we don't rush out of bed to the gifts under the tree (who are we kidding- we do, but all be it with a heavy groggy head from too much prosecco the night before). Although we may not check to see if Santa has left some crumbs and drank all his milk (whiskey and drink driving was never encouraged in our household), we don't check for crumbs because of course there are, always, and there's a half eaten carrot that Rudolf ate (I always wondered why the other reindeers never got fed...) Anyway, Christmas for us is still just as magical as it was years ago. A chocolate orange, some much needed time with the family and perhaps that new mac lippie you have been after or even the new boots you have had on your Pinterest list for ages... Christmas is freaking awesome!

If she ended up in Langley Berks...

So we have read about how bloggers create successful blogs, of course we have. Most of the time they have sunny back drops, or they are getting on a plane, or lying on a beach with the stumps of their legs in view! Not us, hell no. We thought we would defy the odds and be a blogger, living it up in Langley Berkshire. Our backdrops were just as scenic and beautiful as those of Sincerely Jules and Ring My Bell, if not more. The butchers, the laundrette and Budgens. Hey, you can be a blogger anywhere right? Who needs a cannon 7D, heels and palm trees. Not us, and most certainly not Bobbie!

On a photoshoot...

Sneak peaks and out takes from Bobbie's shoot for the launch of our shop. The job is kind of easy when your model is this gorge. We had the most fun, especially with our extra addition - her beautiful son. He even helped sweep up. What more can you ask for? We will be getting him in again.
Our shop launches on Thursday 5th Dec. We also have our first ever clothes party at Dogstar Brixton (7-10pm). We are trying to contain our excitement.

If she had the world's most wanted wardrobe

We cannot tell you the amount of times we have trawled through our wardrobes and wished we had someone else's. We couldn't understand why we kept on buying stuff yet had nothing to wear! Turns out, its because we were buying rubbish; turns out our wardrobes could be halved and we would still have more to wear if we kept the right pieces.
Turns out bobbies wardrobe is full of simple, chic items that can be put together and mixed and matched with pretty much her entire wardrobe. Ahhhh, we cried, this makes so much freaking sense!
Bobbies wardrobe was classic, but still young (I mean fresh, not young like a 14 year old trying to impress a 6th form, pubed-chinned boy.) Her wardrobe was easy, cute with few bold pieces, but most things hung simply over the body and fitted just right in all the right places. Nothing was too jazzy but together. Well Bobbie looked like she could take on the world... well, perhaps a first date, or a job interview, or a Sunday stroll down Brick Lane.
Bobbie's wardrobe would be inspired and look a little something like this... (We want to steal all of Bobbie's things!)

If she were bored...

If she got dumped

After crying for a mere 30 mins (ok ok, a full 24hrs with snack breaks) Bobbie would get up, wipe the snot from her face, gather herself together.  After questioning whether to stay in her onesie she would slap herself at the thought, and head to her wardrobe. There is always, always something that would cheer her up here..
Not that coral tulip skirt (she'd worn that on their first date)... not the oversized knitted jumper dress (he had said he loved her when she had curled up on the sofa that night wearing it)... Nope, nope, nope... Ahhaaaa, perfect -
The grey jersey dress! That is what she would wear tonight! And with the heeled platforms she couldn't wear before, because they had made her taller than him. Well this was super.

She would call her best mate, the one that made her laugh even if she really didn't want to, and they would go out dancing (that's what they called it now they were in their late twenties) - raving was no longer appropriate for such a dress, and skanking could hardly be taken seriously in these heels.

So they would go out, drink some cocktails and she would probably slip on some air Max's that she'd taken just in case and they would 'party' until they had sweat marks (or not... because Bobbie never gets sweat marks!) And Bobbie would also never go home, take off her gorgeous dress, slip back into her onsie and watch Love Actually whilst sobbing. Never! Instead, Bobbie would party until the sun came up and fall into bed, still wearing said dress, whilst the birds sang, smiling at how she still 'had it' because someone had wolf whistled at her on her way home. (It most certainly didn't have anything to do with the fact that her dress has been caught in her knickers.)
Either way, she was going to wake up and be awesome.
